- 12-Hour Night Shifts | 7 : 00 PM – 7 : 00 AM\n

- Weekend / Holiday Requirements : Every other weekend and holiday\n\nJob Responsibilities\n
- Provide high-quality, compassionate nursing care to patients in a fast-paced emergency setting\n
- Perform rapid assessments and triage for patients of varying acuity levels\n
- Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and manage IV therapies as directed by physicians\n
- Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams to stabilize and treat critical patients\n
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the EPIC electronic health record system\n
- Ensure adherence to hospital policies, protocols, and evidence-based emergency nursing practices\n
- Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and post-visit care instructions\n\nEducation And Certification Requirements Skills and Qualifications : \n
- Education : Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN)\n
- License : Active Kentucky or Compact RN License\n
- Experience : Minimum 2 years of Emergency Room nursing experience with Level I or II Trauma exposure required\n
- Charting Experience : EPIC experience required\n
- Certifications (Required) : \n
- AHA Basic Life Support (BLS)\n
- AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)\n
- AHA Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)\n
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)\n
- Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC)\n
- Ability to respond quickly and effectively in high-stress, life-threatening situations\n
- Strong critical thinking and clinical judgment skills\n
