• 12-Hour Night Shifts | 7 : 00 PM – 7 : 00 AM\n
• Float Requirements : N / A\n
• On Call / Call Back Requirements : N / A\n
• Weekend / Holiday Requirements : Every other weekend and holiday\n\nJob Responsibilities\n
• Provide high-quality, compassionate nursing care to patients in a fast-paced emergency setting\n
• Perform rapid assessments and triage for patients of varying acuity levels\n
• Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and manage IV therapies as directed by physicians\n
• Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams to stabilize and treat critical patients\n
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the EPIC electronic health record system\n
• Ensure adherence to hospital policies, protocols, and evidence-based emergency nursing practices\n
• Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and post-visit care instructions\n\nEducation And Certification Requirements Skills and Qualifications : \n
• Education : Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN)\n
• License : Active Kentucky or Compact RN License\n
• Experience : Minimum 2 years of Emergency Room nursing experience with Level I or II Trauma exposure required\n
• Charting Experience : EPIC experience required\n
• Certifications (Required) : \n
• AHA Basic Life Support (BLS)\n
• AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)\n
• AHA Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)\n
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)\n
• Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC)\n
• Ability to respond quickly and effectively in high-stress, life-threatening situations\n
• Strong critical thinking and clinical judgment skills\n
• Exceptional communication and teamwork abilities\n
