SUPERVISOR NURSING - SICU -MISSION VIEJO, CALIFORNIA

WEBCO HR, Inc. is seeking a Supervisor of Nursing - SICU for one of our clients located in Mission Viejo, California.

SUMMARY :

This is a Full Time, 3 Nights - 12-hourshift position.

RESPONSIBILITIES :

The Surgical IntensiveCare Unit (SICU) is a 20-bed criticalcare unit specializing in neuro and trauma critical care management. It is a Comprehensive Stroke Center, Level II Trauma Center, and care for the most complex patients, such as neuro / TBI / Stroke / spinal cord injuries, complex surgeries, trauma, and medical critical care patients.

Under the direction of the Nurse Manager, Director, or Executive Director, the Charge Nurse / Nursing Supervisor provides an optimal environment and assists in overseeing and directing unit activities and personnel to ensure high quality patient care. Plans, organizes, controls and coordinates the department activities ensuring high quality patient care and efficient, cost-effective service. Adheres to the ANA Nursing Administration : Scope and Standardsof Practice.

REQUIREMENTS :

• Bachelor's Degree Nursing.
• Master’s Degree in Nursing is preferred.
• Upon hire : California Registered Nurse License.
• Upon hire : National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.
• Upon hire : one professional certification in related area.
• 2 years Recent clinical experience in specialty area.
• Charge Nurse / Relief Charge Nurse experience.
• Leadership experience preferred.
