The Door and Door Hardware Technician position is an integral part of The Flying Locksmiths Oklahoma City and is key to the growth of the company. All Door and Door Hardware must have the ability to work well in a high-paced working environment. The individual must work well as part of the team and independently from the FlyLock owner. The Door and Door Hardware position is a hands-on technical position geared toward an individual who has a technical mindset. Ideal candidates will have locksmithing knowledge and demonstrate the ability to learn new technical methods and techniques.

Responsibilities

The responsibilities of a FlyLock Security Solutions Door and Door Hardware consist of the following :

• Ability to perform emergency work orders, for commercial clients only.
• Ability to install, repair, and maintain Commercial and Residential door and door hardware
• Ability to install, repair, and maintain Doors, Door frame and Door Hardware
• Ability to install automatic sliding doors and swing doors
• Ability to install metal, wood, and glass doors
• Ability to troubleshoot malfunctioning doors and frames as well as hardware
• Ability to interpret blueprints and diagrams for installation
• Ability to interpret a variety of instructions in written, diagram, or schedule form.
• Ability to troubleshoot with a variety of variables in situations.
• Ability to clean, maintain, adjust, calibrate & service equipment used.
• Ability to read operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to write simple correspondence.
• Ability to effectively present information to customers & commercial clients.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure.

Physical Requirements

Compensation : $45,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
