Mid-Level Java Developer

About the Role

We are seeking a Mid-Level Java Developer to join our development team and work on building robust, scalable, and secure applications. You will collaborate with senior developers, QA, and product teams to deliver business-critical features and ensure high-quality software solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, and maintain Java-based applications.

Work with REST APIs, microservices, and backend components.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver features.

Participate in code reviews, debugging, and performance tuning.

Ensure code quality, unit testing, and adherence to best practices.

Support deployments and troubleshooting in production environments.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

3 5 years of experience in Java development.

Strong knowledge of Java 8 / 11+, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and Hibernate / JPA.

Experience with relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle).

Familiarity with RESTful services, JSON, and APIs.

Knowledge of Git, CI / CD pipelines, and Agile development practices.

Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented principles.

Preferred Qualifications

Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

Experience with microservices, messaging queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ), and containerization (Docker / Kubernetes).

Basic front-end knowledge (React, Angular, or similar).

Understanding of test automation frameworks (JUnit, Mockito).

Soft Skills

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Ability to work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

Good communication skills and willingness to learn from senior team members.
