Correctional Medical Management is passionate about positively changing healthcare for the good of our clients. We are seeking Registered Nurses to work full time night shift at the Minnehaha County Jail. In this role you will provide patient education, preventative care and clinical care to incarcerated patients. You will work in a supportive and safe environment in collaboration with correctional officers to provide quality healthcare to an underserved population. This position will be rewarding and allow you to diversify your nursing career!

Responsibilities :
Provide direct nursing care to inmatesMedication administrationPerform assessments and provide healthcare educationEmergency responsePrepare and maintain records, charts and reportsManage acute and chronic health conditionsMonitor patient progress and adjust care plans accordinglyEnsure all nursing protocols are followedEvaluate client behaviors, symptoms, and effects or medications / treatmentsObtain diagnostic testsAssist with medical or minor surgical proceduresEstablish and maintain effective and professional relationships with patients, staff and the publicComprehensive Benefits Package :
