Setting : Academic center

Facility Size : 187-bed Level I Trauma Center

ORs : 15 main ORs, 3 endoscopy suites, EP lab, TEE, IR, OB, MRI Lines

Patient Population : Adult and Geriatric only (No pediatrics)

EMR : EPIC

FTE : 1.0

Initial Dates : November 22 - November 30

Ongoing Coverage : Yes

Hours :

Monday-Friday, 8-10 hour shifts

Unrestricted overnight and weekend call CREDENTIALING & REQUIREMENTS :

Board Certification in Anesthesiology : Required

Fellowship in Cardiac Anesthesiology : Required

TEE Certification : Required

Board Certified in Transesophageal Echo : Required

License : Nebraska license highly preferred or IMLC accepted

Will consider candidates needing to obtain a license (if in time) CLINICAL VOLUME & DUTIES :

Cardiac Surgical Cases Per Year : 360-450

Cardiac Surgeons on Staff : 2

Hands-On Cases : Yes

May supervise CRNAs occasionally
