The Beatrice State Developmental Center is seeking an Internal Care Facility Manager to lead a dedicated team providing care for individuals with intellectual disabilities. Job duties include, but are not limited to the following :

• Lead and coordinate services across departments to ensure the health, safety, and well-being of individuals (nutrition, nursing, medical, social, etc.).
• Oversee prevention, identification, reporting, and response to injuries, incidents, and abuse / neglect.
• Monitor services to meet individuals' developmental and physical needs while protecting human and legal rights.
• Collect and analyze data to assess service quality, formulate action plans, and provide team feedback.
• Supervise, evaluate, and provide guidance to staff; manage personnel decisions (selection, discipline, performance, etc.).
• Coordinate staff training programs and conduct meetings to discuss progress, treatment, and placement.
• Ensure compliance with agency policies, state / federal regulations, and labor contracts.
• Advocate for individuals' rights and ensure staff practices maximize health and safety.
• Oversee staffing, admissions, discharges, and transfers of individuals served.
• Collaborate with program officials, service coordinators, and community providers.
• Develop and manage the budget for assigned areas and monitor fiscal accountability.
• Implement corrective action plans in response to reviews and state / federal surveys.

Knowledge of : developmental disabilities service delivery, problem solving and planning techniques; state and federal standards; interaction concepts.

Skill in : developing relationships; communicating; planning organizing, and evaluating work; problem solving.

Ability to : interact cooperatively, maintain effective working relationships; display versatility in managing workload relative to volume, type and time frames; delegate responsibilities; plan, develop, coordinate, and organize activities; analyze situations; and provide leadership.

Minimum Qualifications : Bachelor's degree in human services field required and a minimum of 3 years successful management experience in the field of Developmental Disabilities.

Must meet qualifications of a Qualified Developmental Disability Professional (QDDP) as defined by the Regulations of Title XIX Standard 483.430. Bachelor's degree from a college or university in the human services field, as defined in the Title XIX Standards 483.430(b) (5) (x) 583.430 (a) (3) (I) (ii) 483.40 (B) (i ix), which includes the :
