The VA San Diego Healthcare System is seeking a dedicated Primary Care Physician to join our dynamic team at the Kearny Mesa Community-Based Outpatient Clinic (CBOC). Here, you’ll provide comprehensive primary care services in a supportive, patient-centered environment.
Your Role and Responsibilities
As an Internal Medicine Physician, you will :
- Manage chronic diseases and provide preventive health services.
- Diagnose, treat, and consult on a wide variety of adult medical conditions.
- Collaborate with mid-level providers and specialists to ensure coordinated care.
- Evaluate and stabilize patients with emergent conditions, adhering to medical staff policies.
- Work within a Patient Aligned Care Team Model , caring for a panel of approximately 1,200-1,260 patients.
Schedule
Your work schedule will be :
Monday to Friday , 8 AM - 4 : 30 PMNo weekend call!Excludes Federal Government holidays.Qualifications

U.S. CitizenshipAn unrestricted U.S. Medical LicenseSuccessful completion of an ACGME or AOA accredited residency in Internal or Family MedicineBoard certification in your current specialtyWhat We Offer
