General Manager
The ideal Manager will oversee all studio functionality from sales to Instructors. The position is a high-profile leadership position that is responsible for the studio's overall direction, coordination, operation, and success. The General Manager will ensure the studio meets or exceeds financial goals, while providing remarkable leadership in areas of customer service, team member relations, sales, in-studio business performance, and member participation.

General Manager Qualifications :
Bachelors degree in business management, hospitality, or related field2+ years of retail / service sales or fitness sales experienceAbility to manage and drive 2 revenue streams : memberships and retailMust have business knowledge and be focused on driving bottom line revenueMust be fluent in English and have excellent communication and strong interpersonal skills in person, on the telephone and via emailSolid writing and grammar skillsTrustworthy and ability to handle confidential informationAbility to excel in a fast changing, diverse environmentHighly organized, proficient in data management, ability to prioritize and meet deadlinesAbility to work harmoniously with co-workers, clients and the general publicProficient with computers and fitness studio softwareMust live in close proximity of the studioFull-time; weekend availabilityMust be flexible with your schedule and timeNon traditional hours - day, evening, and / or weekend hours, including holidays and long shifts as the business dictatesGeneral Manager responsibilities include, but are not limited to :
Sales :
Manage leads and converting them to membersImplement sales process to schedule prospects into trying a classGenerate personal sales and train Studio Team in salesFocus on engaging with all guests, selling memberships, class packages, and product offeringsSupervise Studio Team Sales RepresentativesMarketing :
Lead generation including Grass Roots Marketing, Social Media Marketing, and NetworkingStrategically manage marketing campaigns to generate leads for the studioOwn key marketing channels from ideation / planning / copywriting through to execution including but not limited to :Social Media (Instagram, Instagram Stories, + FB Priority)Weekly CITYROW email (using MailChimp to communication weekly marketing initiatives, studio happenings, and press)Run point on special events, activations, and partnerships (e.g. : outdoor pop-ups, team bonding, etc.)Help promote CITYROW to new businesses with ongoing community outreachManage in-studio marketing and maintenance (i.e. chalkboards, seasonal decor, boards, etc.)Staffing :
Hire and manage all aspects of staffing for the studio, including recruitment, hiring, training, and termination as necessarySupervise, discipline, and advise on pay and termination decisions related to Studio personnel including Sales Associates and InstructorsOptimize and publish staff schedule monthlyHandle all new hire paperwork and on-boardingMonitor class performance and communicate any schedule changes with the Studio TeamCustomer Service :
Independently make decisions related to high level customer serviceResolve and attend to any client issues / requestsCollect outstanding duesRespond to studio customer service emailOperations :
Oversee daily operations of the studioEnforce CITYROW policies and proceduresProficiency in revenue reports, attendance reports, etc.Ensure all forms, administrative supplies, and studio literature is stocked and visibleOrder and manage inventory of studio supplies and sales of merchandiseEnsure cleanliness standards are met and maintained at all timesPerform ongoing maintenance on studio space and equipment as neededSubmit weekly, monthly, and quarterly studio revenue and goal reportsCoordinate with any outside vendors when necessary (i.e. towel service, water deliveries, etc.)Attend all applicable CITYROW training / meetings at Corporate or via telephone or web conferencingAny other duties as assignedCompensation + Benefits :
