Perform a variety of grounds keeping, routine maintenance, preventative maintenance and housekeeping duties for all locations. Assist Maintenance Mechanics on projects and other requests which would require assistance. Remain On Call for emergencies.
Duties and Responsibilities :
- Ability to work independently on small scale work orders, inspections or requests.
- Follow all health and safety regulations when operating equipment.
- Provide assistance as needed.

Routine Maintenance :
Mechanics will be responsible for upkeep of all areas of the NeighborHealth including, but not limited to :
Repair toilets, install and repair dispensers (paper towel, soap, etc.)Key control, make keys, and repair locksMake signs, name tags, doorplatesSet up conference rooms for meetings (tables, chairs, etc.)Escort repairmen, meter readers, outside vendorsMove inventory (records, boxes, furniture, etc.) to storageKeep storage areas in orderly conditionChange lightsPatching and painting of walls. Respond to staff requests for emergency servicesContinue work on all unfinished work ordersLight constructionBackup to housekeepingDecontamination of rooms / areas where Blood / Body fluid spills have occurredConduct weekly walk through of all buildings replacing light bulbs and noting any maintenance concernsPreventative, routine and regulatory inspections.
