Job Description & Requirements Specialty : PICU - Pediatric Intensive Care Discipline : RN Start Date : 11 / 17 / 2025 Duration : 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift : 12 hours, nights Employment Type : Travel Position : RN – Pediatric ICU (PICU) Location : Oklahoma City, OK Shift : 12-Hour Night Shifts, 3x12s per week Duration : 13 weeks Responsibilities : Provide direct nursing care for pediatric patients with complex and critical health conditions. Monitor and assess patients’ physiological status and respond promptly to changes. Administer medications, intravenous infusions, and blood products as prescribed. Assist physicians during examinations and procedures. Document patient care, treatments, and responses accurately and timely. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate and implement individualized care plans. Educate patients and families regarding hospital procedures, treatment plans, and discharge instructions. Maintain compliance with hospital protocols, safety standards, and infection control policies. Delegate appropriate tasks to support staff and ensure continuity of care. Requirements : Minimum 1 year of PICU nursing experience required. Associate’s Degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited program required; BSN preferred. Active RN License in the state of Oklahoma or Compact RN License (eNLC) . BLS and PALS (AHA) certifications required. Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork skills.
