Automotive Service Writer

We are seeking Automotive Service Writers / Customer Experience Managers to oversee service department activities at a retail store specializing in tires, automotive parts, and mechanical services. This role serves as a developmental step towards becoming a Store Manager. Midas is dedicated to training and promoting from within.

Responsibilities

• Follow up with customers regarding requested services and estimated completion times
• Conduct comprehensive vehicle inspections and make repair recommendations, create computerized repair orders, and source parts
• Discuss pricing estimates with customers and promote shop service specials
• Align with company vision, purpose, core values, and employee creed
• Collaborate effectively as part of a team
• Oversee technicians in inspections, diagnostics, and repairs of domestic, European, and Asian vehicles and light trucks
• Maintain inventory counts
• Ensure cleanliness and organization, including adherence to COVID-19 safety protocols
• Perform other duties as assigned
