GHR Healthcare is seeking a local contract nurse RN PICU - Pediatric Intensive Care for a local contract nursing job in Park Ridge, Illinois.

Pediatric Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse (PICU RN)

Overview :

We’re seeking a compassionate and experienced Pediatric ICU RN to provide exceptional care to critically ill children. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong clinical judgment, emotional resilience, and a commitment to family-centered care in a high-acuity environment.

Responsibilities :

Deliver comprehensive nursing care to pediatric patients in critical condition

Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans

Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and manage life-support equipment

Provide education and emotional support to patients’ families

Maintain accurate documentation and uphold all safety and infection control standards

Requirements :

Active RN license in good standing

Minimum 2 years of recent PICU experience

Current BLS and PALS certifications

Excellent communication and critical-thinking skills
