Overview

The Producer is responsible for managing projects from initiation through delivery, ensuring work is completed on time, on budget, and at the highest quality. In this role, you will oversee multiple projects across a range of clients and deliverables simultaneously. Primary project types include website UX through development, campaign microsites, and CMS maintenance. Additional work may include brand design, marketing collateral, and content creation. You will partner closely with Account Leads and Team Leads to align project goals, support clients, and guide cross-disciplinary teams through each phase of production. This role reports directly to the Director of Production.

Base pay range

$65,000.00 / yr - $85,000.00 / yr

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for driving projects forward and delivering on time, within budget, and within scope.
  • Communicate effectively with clients and internal teams on project management deliverables.
  • Manage client relationships, navigate ambiguity, and adapt to changing priorities and needs.
  • Oversee and manage QA and testing processes to ensure websites function as intended across platforms and devices.
  • Create project schedules and deliverable deadlines, and ensure these are followed internally and externally.
  • Own internal and external meetings, including setup, agendas, and notes, and ensure follow-up action plans.
  • Maintain deep knowledge of project scope, goals, deliverables, schedule, and process; manage work within the defined scope and SOW.
  • Handle project administration tasks, such as tracking hours, expenses, schedule creation, and project tool setup (Slack, Airtable, Team Drive folders, etc.).
  • Track team hours against the budget as needed.
  • Ensure contractor invoices, project expenses, and other costs are tracked appropriately.
  • Review deliverables and act as the day-to-day client liaison to ensure the team stays on track.
  • Manage deliverables and assets from the client and own internal systems, process, project organization, and documentation.
  • Lead the project process from start to finish and guide the team toward completion as the producer.

Knowledge & Skills

  • Proficiency in tools like Figma, Airtable, Google Suite, and Adobe Creative Cloud for managing workflows and project work.
  • Analytical, problem-solving, and collaboration skills with experience across cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity, work independently, and deliver strategic recommendations confidently.
  • Education & Experience

  • 2-3 years agency or in-house production experience with some experience running web and brand projects.
