Please note, this role will oversee the following HRC clinics and surgery centers : Beverly Hills and West Los Angeles. Growth also planned for this westside with added locations in the future.About : The Regional Practice Manager is responsible for overseeing the financial, operational, clinical and administrative functions of the clinic to ensure efficiency, compliance, and high-quality patient care. This role involves clinical operations, surgery operations, and financial management, including budgeting, procurement, and revenue cycle collaboration; the role also is leadership in staff supervision, training, and performance evaluation. The Regional Clinical Practice Manager plays a key role in business development and marketing efforts to support clinic growth and community outreach. Additionally, this position ensures compliance with healthcare regulations, maintains facility operations, and fosters a positive patient experience while supporting strategic clinic objectives. As an RN clinical practice manager, this role is also the Charge Nurse for applicable surgery centers and serves in a leadership role for surgery center quality, operations and processes, as well as serving as leadership for nursing and other clinical team members.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
- Provide direct clinical supervision to nursing and support staff in alignment with California Board of Registered Nursing standards.
- Ensure compliance with fertility protocols, infection control, and patient safety regulations.
- Support physicians and patients during procedures such as IVF, IUI, and cycle monitoring.
- Coordinate clinical workflows to ensure timely, compassionate, and effective patient care.
- Stay current with advancements in reproductive endocrinology and fertility treatments.
- Coordinate reporting with organizations such as SART and CDC.
- Prepare for audits, inspections, and quality assurance reviews.
- Implement and maintain EMR and patient documentation accuracy.
Financial Management
- Assists fiscal management and designated staff to develop and implement cost effective procedures for all
operational areas effecting site
- Strong financial acumens, ability to make good judgments and creating economic value including growing, developing and managing sales, financial counseling, patient volume and referrals.
- Participates in development and management of site budgets
- Identifies capital budget needs
- Assist RCM Department on billing and collection
- Procure supplies and other materials needed for the medical group at competitive prices and with reputable vendors.
- Review and approve invoices and expenditures per policy and timely submission to AP for payment.
- Review invoices for services.
Leadership
- Demonstrate excellent customer service skills.
- Provide overall leadership for staff, uphold a high standard of clinical patient care.
- Establish and implement goals, objectives, policies, procedures and systems for all operational areas of the clinic.
- Assist in resolution of administrative and operational issues including the maintenance of clinic property.
- Ensure staffing and resources are adequate to meet the needs of clinics.
- Participate in management or leadership meetings as directed or requested.
- Ensure compliance with regulations and standards.
- Serve as a liaison between clinics and external accrediting and regulatory agencies.
- Assists leadership develop clinic strategic plans and objectives based upon identified needs of patients.
- Maintain the strictest confidentiality.
- Continue self-development as a leader through participation in industry groups and continuing education.
Personnel
- Responsible for scheduling of work and staffing hours as well as coverage for staff out sick or on vacation.
- Assess staffing patterns and recommend changes.
- Coordinate and collaborate with human resources team to ensure effective administration and implementation of compensation, benefits, job descriptions, personnel policies and payroll practices.
- Responsible for the selection, hiring, orienting, training and supervision of all medical group staff (non-provider staff).
- Evaluate employee performance and recommend merit increases, promotions and disciplinary actions.
- Resolves problems in administrative and clinical areas
- Organize and conduct regular staff meetings including setting the meeting agendas.
- Ensure that staff is trained and operates in compliance with all government and other accrediting and regulatory agencies.
- Oversee RSA (Reproductive Surgical Associates) operations.
- Oversee the regional marketing coordinator performance.
Business Development
- Participate in the development and implementation of long-range business development and community outreach plans.
- Assist in implementing Business Development growth strategies.
- Assist senior leadership to develop clinic and surgical strategic plans and objectives based upon identified needs of business
Marketing
- Participates and support regional marketing efforts and team(s) to develop, strengthen and grow community outreach and business development efforts and strategy.
- Assists in implementing regional marketing, community outreach and communications resources
Surgery Center & Charge Nurse Duties
- Experience : Minimum 5 years of clinical nursing experience, with at least 3 years in a surgical center or perioperative environment.
- Proven leadership experience in a healthcare management role, preferably in an ambulatory surgical center (ASC).
- Strong knowledge of surgical workflows, infection prevention, and perioperative care.
Assist with ultrasounds, embryo transfers, blood draws, and possibly egg retrievals or pre-op operations
- Potential for a $5,000 one time sign on bonus upon successful completion of first 90 days
