Travel Nursing Job Details

Job Title : CVOR Registered Nurse (Travel Nurse)

Location : Harrisburg, PA 17101

Healthcare Setting : Open Heart (CVOR) Unit

Employment Type : Travel Nursing Assignment

Shift : 8-hour day shifts (AM); 5x8-hour or 4x10-hour shifts preferred

Hours per Week : 40

Assignment Duration : 13 weeks (Start : 10 / 6 / 2025 – End : 1 / 4 / 2026)

Call Requirement : Minimum 7 days of call per month

Estimated Weekly Salary : $2330 - $2500

CVOR Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active RN license (Pennsylvania RN license preferred for local candidates)

Minimum 2 years of recent CVOR nursing experience (must be clearly listed on resume)

Experience with CABG (Coronary Artery Bypass Graft) procedures required

Scrubbing experience as a Registered Nurse preferred but not mandatory

Act 73 clearance must be initiated upon offer acceptance

Key Responsibilities for CVOR RN

Assist in open heart and cardiovascular surgical procedures, including CABG surgeries

Deliver direct patient care before, during, and after cardiovascular surgery

Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and the surgical healthcare team

Perform scrubbing and circulating duties as needed in the CVOR

Maintain accurate clinical documentation and adhere to safety protocols

Fulfill on-call nursing responsibilities as scheduled
