Summary
The Project Director is a creative thinker who can use analytical and interpersonal skills to build relationships, work collaboratively across a cross functional environment and is passionate about organizational change. This position is responsible for facilitating successful project delivery including the planning, scheduling, execution, and closing of all assigned projects within established budget and schedule, primarily focused on the implementation of clinic operational solutions across corresponding systems and departments. Utilizing Project Management (PM) methodologies, while managing all project team members (organizational resources and engaged third party vendors / consultants) to deliver solutions according to project scope and goals. Supporting the execution and coordinating the projects of multiple team members and leaders. Overseeing relevant project documents and deliverables and reporting on progress throughout the project life cycle as well as acquiring a deep understanding of MEC internal administrative systems and existing capabilities, to support the operations team in the efforts to drive operational efficiencies and provide solutions to a variety of business challenges. Providing guidance, coaching and support for less experienced colleagues. Exemplifies the MEC mission, vision and values and acts in accordance with all policies and procedures.
This position must be located in the Chicagoland market and will be predominantly on-site at our Chicago office with office hours expected between 8 : 00 AM - 5 : 00 PM CT.

Required Job Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, project management, health care or related discipline and at least six years of project management experience required.
- Strong organizational, analytical and communication skills.
- Emphasis on interpersonal skills that encourages change behaviors
- Knowledge of formal project management methodologies and proven skill in effective execution required.
- Proficient and functional knowledge of MS Office (including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Access, Outlook) and Project Management software.
- Strong time management and prioritization skills.
- Ability to execute project management leveraging Lean process improvement methodology required.
- Ability to work effectively with individuals at all levels in the organization.
- Professional in Project Management (PMP) or Lean Six Sigma certification preferred.
- Organizational Change Management experience or training
- Monday.com experience preferred
Responsibilities
Effectively manages multiple activities simultaneously leveraging high-complexity, transformational, and organizational-wide change.Direct and manage project development and progress from beginning to end.Guide teams as they work with project sponsors and business stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, tasks, milestones, budgets, and measures of success.Establish project governance with key leaders and stakeholders and facilitate governance activities to ensure leadership effectively clears roadblocks and promotes the success of the project.Act as liaison between the designated leadership, project teams, and multiple organizational structures.Draft and submit budget proposals and recommend subsequent budget changes.Plan, estimate, and control project costs, including resource planning, to ensure project is delivered on time and within budget.Build, develop, and grow any business relationships vital to the success of the project.Estimate and identify the resources and participants needed to achieve project goals.Negotiate with contractors and internal department managers for the acquisition of required personnel.Develops scaled project plans and associated communications documents using standard tools.Identify and manage project resource needs and goals - strategies, staffing, scheduling, issue resolution, contingency plans, communication plans, and change control.Facilitate or participate in routine project team meetings to establish and continually manage project requirements and expectations with team members and other stakeholders.Coach, mentor, and motivate project team members and contractors, influencing them to take positive action and accountability for their assigned work.Provide project management coaching and mentoring to others in the organization.Determine the frequency and content of status reports from the project team, analyze results and troubleshoot problem areas.Collaborate and coordinate efforts with those of the organizational performance improvement.Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path.Identify and resolve issues / conflicts and / or escalate where appropriate for resolution.Proactively manage potential scope and schedule changes. Where required, escalate based upon standards established within the communication plan.Guide team in the maintenance of project management guidelines, training programs, policies, and procedures.Conduct project lessons learned sessions and create recommendations report to develop best practices and tools for project execution and management.Performs other related duties as assigned.
Compensation and Benefits
Compensation Range : $85,000 - $135,000
Salaries are determined by many factors including, but not limited to, education, job-related experience and skills, as well as internal equity and industry specific market data. The pay range for each role reflects an anticipated wage or salary reasonably expected to be offered for the position. Offers may vary depending on the circumstances of each case.
