Back END Application Architect (Somerville)

A client of ours is looking for a bac end application architect to join their growing team. The candidate will provide End-to-End Solution Design : Architect, develop, and deploy Python-based automation bots containerized applications to streamline network repair processes. They will do Data Management : Manage backend databases and data connections, prioritizing data integrity and security. They will also do Testing & Validation : Design and execute comprehensive test plans, scenarios, scripts, and procedures to optimize performance and minimize implementation time. Conduct solution reviews and provide technical expertise to stakeholders and end-users. The large effort that the client is undergoing is related to moving from one ticketing system (remedy) onto a new one (service now.)

• 6+ years as an engineer who turned into an architect for large scale applications
• Experience with translating business use cases to technical solutions and user interface design
• Proficiency building and architecting RESTful APIs using Java and Python (REST / JSON)
• Proficiency on Spring Boot, FLASK, FastAPI frameworks
• Experience on noSQL and SQL databases
• Familiarity with microservices architecture
• Experience working with docker / kubernetes
• Familiarity with node JS
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
