Job Description

Seeking someone to join a tightly knit small team doing office based procedures. With a small team everyone will share the workload to work towards the same shared goals :

    You will be one of two Medical Assistants helping with outpatient interventional radiology procedures.

  • Done in an office setting
  • Minimally invasive procedures on awake patients with fluoro imaging.
  • Patients go through standard pre-op checks / questions, then are taken to a procedure room for a 1-2 hour procedure and are then watched in postop for about 30 minutes.
  • One MA is in preop / postop, and one is in the procedure room. MAs may rotate through both positions.
  • 5-7 cases / day; one day / week
  • Qualifications

  • Experience working in a procedural setting.
  • Comfortable with a dynamic setting and varied tasks : charting, checking vitals, talking with patients, opening sterile supplies in the procedure room, and keeping up with changing tasks and needs of the situation.
  • Comfortable taking ownership of your tasks and being able to understand what's going on with the team and pitching in wherever needed.
  • Valid and Current Medical Assistant Certification

  • 3 days / month 8am-5pm
