A bit about us :

Boutique law firm with sophisticated commercial real estate and business transactional practice is seeking a full-time real estate attorney with 3-6 years of experience in a real estate transactional practice. Candidate must have significant experience in the area of commercial real estate law as well as outstanding drafting skills, work ethic, and attention to detail. Must be reliable, responsible, motivated, friendly, and able to thrive in a small firm environment. The ability to work well with and support others is key. Competitive salary and benefits.

  • Employees are eligible to participate in our 401K after a six-month qualification period. The firm typically contributes (without regard to contributions from the employee) three percent of the employee’s annual salary to that employee’s 401K account.
  • We offer several options for healthcare. We typically offer HMO and PPO options as well as dental and vision. Employees are provided with an allowance (like a so-called cafeteria plan) which we typically calculate to be the cost of basic HMO or PPO coverage. Additional coverage and coverage for the employee’s spouse and dependents is paid by the employee.

Job Details

Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school and active license to practice law in California.

3-6 years of experience as a real estate transactional attorney, with a focus on representing sophisticated real estate investors and developers.

At least two years of experience at a larger, national, or regional law firm.

Strong expertise in drafting and negotiating real estate transaction documents.

In-depth knowledge of real estate law, including acquisitions, financing, leasing, and development.

Exceptional analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

Ability to manage multiple complex transactions under tight deadlines.

Candidates with significant litigation or corporate experience will not be considered.
