Principal AV Safety Engineer

A company is looking for a Principal AV Behavior and AI Safety Engineer : Technical Lead.

Key Responsibilities

Develop strategies for safe AI / ML and autonomous system development, deployment, and maintenance

Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure safe training and enhancement of machine learning models

Establish safety standards for testing and validation of AI solutions and operational design domains

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field

7+ years of experience in machine learning, engineering, data science, or a related field

7+ years in autonomous vehicle or robotics development or related field

Extensive experience with ISO 8800, ISO 21448, and other industry standards for AI safety

Proven track record providing technical safety leadership in AI / ML and AV development
