Quality Services Coordinator

Volunteers of America-Greater New York (VOA-Greater New York) is an anti-poverty organization working to end homelessness in the New York area by 2050. We operate over 60 programs across New York City, Northern New Jersey and Westchester County including emergency, transitional and permanent housing. Our services extend to families experiencing homelessness, survivors of domestic violence, people living with HIV / AIDS, veterans, youth aging out of foster care, adults with behavioral health or substance use needs , and others in need, including a special education preschool program.

Position : Quality Services Coordinator (Hybrid Remote)

The Quality Services Coordinator is responsible for the quality activities for the Youth and Family Services and the Adult Behavioral Health and Developmental Disability Services programs. This person will assist in organization-wide quality activities under the direction of the Director of Quality Services within the Quality Assurance & Research Team.

Location : Rahway, NJ 07065

Minimum Qualifications :

• The position requires a Bachelor's degree in a related field, two years of experience in support of social service programs, and demonstrated ability in the areas of written and verbal communication, as well as excellent interpersonal skills.
• Skillful in Microsoft Office Suite is required.
• Experience with diverse community populations including young adults and adults with behavioral health needs, New Jersey regulatory bodies, New Jersey Medicaid, and / or Managed Care is highly preferable.
• Knowledge of electronic health record applications is a plus.
