Locum Tenens Cardiothoracic Surgeon Opportunity Near Branchville, VA

We are seeking a highly skilled Cardiothoracic Surgeon for a locum tenens position near Branchville, VA. This opportunity is ideal for a physician who can start ASAP and provide coverage for both office and hospital settings. If you are a board-certified Cardiothoracic Surgeon with the flexibility to handle a variety of cases, we would love to hear from you.

Position Overview

  • Location : Near Branchville, VA
  • Start Date : ASAP
  • End Date : Ongoing
  • Shift Type : 24-hour shifts
  • Shift Schedule : Monday - Friday, 7 : 00 AM - 3 : 30 PM plus on-call coverage
  • Weekend Requirements : Yes
  • On-Call Requirements : Yes, including after office hours and weekends

    • Descending Aortic Aneurysms

  • Coronary Artery Bypass Surgery :

    • CABG

  • Redo Coronary Revascularization (with or without heart valve surgery)
  • Arterial Revascularization (using internal mammary arteries, radial artery, and gastroepiploic artery)
  • Pericardial Window
  • Tube Thoracostomy
  • Thoracic Aortic Aneurysms
  • Thoracic Endoscopy :

    • Flexible and Rigid Bronchoscopy

  • Thoracotomy Lung Resections and Pneumonectomy
  • Chest Wall Resection and Reconstruction
  • Mediastinal Surgery
  • Vascular Surgery :

    • Heart Valve Repair / Replacement Surgery

  • Heart Valve Replacement Without Surgery (CoreValve System)
  • Mitral Valve Repair

    • Certification and Licensing Requirements

  • Board Certification : Required
  • Certifications : ACLS, BLS
  • State License : Virginia
