Custodian (Wage)

The Jamestown-Yorktown Foundation is seeking applicants for the position of Custodian. We are looking for a reliable, hard-working individual to join our team! This position is responsible for performing custodial duties on the properties of the Jamestown-Yorktown Foundation. This is a weekend position and will generally be scheduled for FridayMonday each week with a possibility of shifts during the rest of the week on occasion. Shifts will typically fall between the hours of 6 : 00am-4 : 00pm. This is a wage position limited to 1500 hours per year (which equates to about 29 hours or less a week) with no state benefits.

Minimum Qualifications :

• Successful candidates will have a demonstrated ability to follow oral and written instructions. -Ability to perform a variety of cleaning tasks. -Demonstrated ability to lift heavy objects; to stand for extended periods; and to perform manual labor, including handling objects weighing over 50 pounds.
