job_description.job_card.job_descriptionProvide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, responding to emergency situations. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing de-escalation techniques as needed. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and / or potential disruptions. Monitor entrances, exits, and other sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized access and promote a secure environment for staff, patients, and visitors. Observe and report any unusual activity, maintenance issues, or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel and / or Allied Universal management. Assist with access control and visitor management, following location-specific protocols for identification and authorization. Support emergency response procedures, including assisting with evacuations and / or coordinating with first responders as directed by site policies. Availability across various days and shifts Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available Handcuffing certification is preferred. Pepper spray certification is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol healthcare locations, helping to deter security-related incidents while supporting a welcoming environment for patients, staff, and visitors. You will conduct routine patrols, remain visible, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do :
Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
- Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
- Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
- Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
- Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
