As a Sr. Business Development Manager, you'll drive global go-to-market strategies, identifying growth opportunities and market gaps. By leading competitive analysis, customer insights, and market segmentation, you'll shape winning offerings. Collaborating across teams, you'll collaborate product development, refine strategies, and execute impactful plans to fuel top and bottom-line growth.

What You Will Do

  • Market Research : Conduct in-depth market analysis and competitive intelligence to identify key business trends and align strategies with dynamic market conditions.
  • Drive Voice of Customer (VOC) initiatives, gathering insights on customer needs, motivations, and behaviors.
  • Lead value chain analysis to optimize market value steps, ideation to customer relationships.
  • Benchmark competitors, analyze threats and trends, and apply strategies to build a sustainable competitive edge.
  • Market Strategy & Formulation : Perform market segmentation and targeting analysis to drive new business models and product development.
  • Develop positioning strategies and value propositions based on market, customer, and competitive insights.
  • Identify market gaps and recommend solutions for product / service optimization.
  • Marketing Strategy : Create a 5-year, insight-driven market strategy.
  • Incubate new opportunities in products, services, and business models, including effective go-to-market plans.
  • Support inorganic growth through acquisitions, partnerships, and licensing opportunities.
  • Understand pricing strategies to optimize market value.
  • Implementation : Develop new channels and optimize channel mix across regions, products, and segments.
  • Align incentives and compensation strategies to motivate desired sales outcomes.
  • Partner with sales leadership to drive sales strategies and achieve target value propositions.
  • Offering Lifecycle Management : Collaborate cross-functionally (Sales, R&D, Marketing, etc.) to drive strategic initiatives and successfully bring offerings to market through key partners and routes.

What You Will Bring

  • Education : Bachelor's degree in engineering, business administration, finance, or marketing. MBA preferred.
  • Experience : 10+ years in major national / global account management, business development, product management, or technical roles in hyperscale, cloud, or colocation datacenters.
  • Voice of Customer : Proven ability to gather customer insights and adjust go-to-market strategies in a solution-based selling environment within network infrastructure.
  • Business Development : Experience proposing new business ideas, following emerging technology trends, and presenting to both internal and external audiences.
  • Skills : Strong forecasting, research, analysis, and project management skills. Mix of technical and business acumen.
  • Preferred Experience : Working with Panduit products / competitors in network infrastructure, creating sales enablement tools and marketing materials, and working with hyperscalers.
  • Travel : Up to 40%.

  • Compensation : The expected annual base salary range for this role is $130,000 $170,000. This role qualifies for an incentive plan based on individual and company performance. Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
