Reports to : Clinical Operations Manager
Qualifications
- Experience : Minimum 5 years as an Athletic Trainer
- Education : Bachelors, Masters, or Doctorate in Athletic Training
- Certifications / Licenses : Licensed in Indiana or ability to apply for licensure in Indiana
- Preferred Experience : Working with tactical athletes or professional / collegiate athletics
Key Responsibilities
Provide onsite care for work-related and private insurance injuries, including prevention, evaluation, management, and rehabilitationDevelop and implement rehabilitation and injury prevention programsConduct functional duty assessments to determine return-to-duty readinessCollaborate with healthcare professionals and refer patients to physicians as neededDocument patient care using electronic medical recordsEnsure equipment maintenance and compliance with safety protocolsProvide health and ergonomic educationTrack and report injury data to the Chief Operating OfficerPerform administrative duties as assignedBe an advocate for our company to external stakeholdersKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Strong manual therapy and assessment skillsAbility to make independent, critical decisions per state licensure guidelinesProficient in designing home exercise programs and recommending assistive equipmentExcellent interpersonal and communication skills, especially in high-stress situationsPositive attitude toward law enforcement and fire service personnelFamiliarity with public safety job requirements and trainingAbility to maintain confidentiality, ensure safety, and comply with regulationsStrong organizational skills and ability to multitask with minimal supervisionCommitment to professional development through courses, mentoring, and networkingPhysical Requirements & Working Conditions
