Proficiency in Automation and Programming : Implement and optimize factory automation systems and machine programming to enhance productivity, reduce manual errors, and support continuous improvement. Solid Manufacturing Knowledge : Apply your understanding of manufacturing processes to implement effective changes, support uptime, and contribute to quality and efficiency improvements. High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations. This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations. Requires significant relevant work experience or specialized skills obtained through education, training or on-the-job experience. Preventative maintenance on electrical components Perform a variety of electrical installation and maintenance work on plant electrical system and equipment Lay out and install wiring circuits and distribution centers in accordance with specifications Install switches, controls and other electronic devices incidental to the installation Diagnose and remedy troubles, repair and replace equipment and apparatus Work from schematic drawings and diagrams, specifications and code book Use electrical measuring and testing devices Troubleshooting of welding equipment and weld controls as well as variable speed motor drives, PLC's servo systems, robotics and other metal fabricating equipment Ability to work efficiently and handle multiple tasks Other
Job Description
We are looking for a talented Electrician - Level III (2nd Shift) to join our team specializing in Manufacturing for our Cummins Inc. facility in Mineral Point, WI.
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways :
- Ensure Equipment Reliability : By troubleshooting, assembling, and maintaining electrical systems, you'll directly contribute to minimizing downtime and keeping operations running smoothly.
