Opportunity : RN - Tele Job Details : - Work 12-hour night shifts from 7 : 00 PM to 7 : 00 AM - 6 openings available with immediate start dates - One-year recent nursing experience preferred - Patient ratios may be 5-6 : 1 depending on floor assignment and patient acuity - Required to float to any floor of the facility to care for patients within skill set based on facility need and staffing - Weekend requirement : 3 weekends in a 6-week schedule - Current Louisiana or COMPACT RN License required - Current BLS via AHA required - Current ACLS via AHA required - Provide routine and complex patient care utilizing the nursing process including assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention and evaluation - Administer medications and treatments using appropriate protocols while monitoring for side-effects and effectiveness - Document patient history, symptoms, medications, and care provided - Address psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families - Assess learning needs and provide education to patients, family members, and caregivers - New hires receive precepting by designated trained staff and must complete organizational entry competency validation - Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing preferred Facility : This healthcare facility is part of a larger health system that provides comprehensive medical services to the community.
