Job Summary :
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Nurse to join our skilled nursing facility team. The nurse will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, administering medications, and coo rdinating with other healthcare professionals to ensure the best outcomes for our residents. The ideal candidate will possess excellent clinical skills, a strong unders ta nding of nursing practices, and a commitment to enhancing the quality of life for our residents.

Responsibilities :
- Patient Care : Provide direct patient care including assessments, treatment planning, and administering medications. Monitor and document patient progress and respond to changes in condition.
- Coo rdination of Care : Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans for residents.
- Communication : Effectively communicate with residents, families, and healthcare team members to address concerns and provide updates on patient s ta tus.
- Documen ta tion : Main ta in accurate and up-to-date patient records, including assessments, interventions, and outcomes, in compliance with facility policies and regulatory s ta ndards.
- Training and Supervision : Mentor and guide nursing s ta ff, including CMA's and CNAs, ensuring adherence to care protocols and facility procedures.
- Compliance : Ensure all nursing practices comply with s ta te and federal regulations, including infection control, safety protocols, and resident rights.
- Emergency Response : Respond promptly and appropriately to medical emergencies, utilizing critical thinking and clinical judgment to s ta bilize and manage acute situations.
- Participation : Works with other nurses in ta king weekend, night, and holiday calls on a ro ta ting basis.
Qualifications :
Education : Associate’s Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited program.Licensure : Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in NELicensure : Current and valid LPN license in NEExperience : One (1) year of experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting preferred, but not requiredCertifications : Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required ; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred.Skills :
Strong clinical assessment and problem-solving skills.Proficient in electronic health records (EHR) and basic computer applications.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Benefits :
