Description :

ASAP start for PICU Registered Nurse needed.

The unit has 18 beds : 4 for PICU, 3 for step down, and 11 for pediatric medical / surgical.

When PICU has no patients, the nurse will take care of pediatric floor level medical / surgical patients or possibly float to the intensive care nursery.

Travel nurses often come here and may care for very few critical care patients due to fluctuations in census.

Patient care levels include medical / surgical floor level, level 2 (Q2h interventions, BiPAP), and level 3 (critical care).
