The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children and a strong understanding of childhood development. This role involves creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children, while promoting their physical, emotional, and social development.

Duties

Responsibilities

• Supervise and engage with children in age-appropriate activities to promote learning and development.
• Implement daily routines that include educational play, meals, naps, and outdoor activities.
• Manage classroom behavior using positive reinforcement techniques and effective behavior management strategies.
• Communicate regularly with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns that may arise.
• Maintain a clean and organized environment conducive to learning and play.
• Collaborate with other childcare staff to develop lesson plans that align with early childhood education standards.
• Assist children with personal hygiene tasks as needed.

Requirements

Skills

Background in child education or early childhood education is essential.

Strong understanding of childhood development principles and practices.

Proven experience working with children in various capacities such as daycare, babysitting, or nannying.

Classroom management skills to maintain a positive learning environment.

Ability to create engaging lesson plans that cater to different age groups.

Excellent communication skills for interacting effectively with children, parents, and colleagues.

Patience, empathy, and a genuine love for working with children are crucial traits for success in this role.
