Controls Engineer

Overview

Akkodis is seeking a Controls Engineer for a six-month plus contract-to-hire position with a client located in Chandler, AZ. You will join our team, specializing in the design, programming, and troubleshooting of automation and control systems for production and test equipment. You must have hands-on experience with PLCs, HMI programming, electrical and electronic design, and a strong background in automation technologies.

Salary

Pay / Salary Range : $50.00 / hr - $62.50 / hr. The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Responsibilities

• Programming for Production Automation :

Develop and maintain PLC ladder logic (Productivity Suite experience a plus)

Implement and troubleshoot communication protocols (Ethernet / IP, Modbus, Serial Communications)

Design control panels and stations, including schematics, layouts, and control schemes

Design pneumatic control systems and actuator controls (electric and pneumatic)

Create and modify designs using CAD software
