Manufacturing Manager

You will be the Manufacturing Manager for the Manufacturing Operations team. Our team is responsible for delivering high-quality products through coordinated machining, assembly, tooling, welding, and paint processes.

What You Will Be Doing

As the Manufacturing Manager you will be responsible for leading multiple functional areas of manufacturing while driving talent development and operational excellence. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to :

  • Oversee machining, assembly, tooling, weld, and paint functions to ensure on-time, quality delivery.
  • Lead recruitment, selection, and training of subordinate employees.
  • Conduct performance assessments, assign work, and manage daily workflow.
  • Administer compensation, recognition, and disciplinary actions.

This position is in Dallas. Discover more about our Dallas, Texas location. MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a Secret clearance.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in relevant field or equivalent experience (8+ years of experience in manufacturing)
  • Experience in leading cross-functional teams in manufacturing environment
  • Skilled in Microsoft suite.
  • Familiarity with collective bargaining agreements and working in a union environment
  • Desired Skills

  • Proven experience using metrics to drive business results in quality, schedule, and cost.
  • Ability to develop recovery and staffing plans to ensure output goals are met.
  • Experience in customer-relations and the proven ability to communicate through multiple levels of the organization

    This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

    Ability to Work Remotely : Onsite Full-time : The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

    Work Schedules : Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

    Schedule for this Position : 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
