Main OR - PACU
Assist with the delivery of patient care and maintenance of unit environmental standards under the supervision of a licensed nurse. Position hours are four (4) 10-hour shifts from 5 : 30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Rotating based on unit need. No specific workdays or days off can be guaranteed.
We care for adult patients who are electively or emergently having surgery. Our patients may be having simple procedures that allow them to go home the same day or may be undergoing complex surgeries that will require them to be cared for in an intensive care setting. Surgery is a unique place in healthcare. After surgery, patient's lives are changed.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the delivery of patient care and maintenance of unit environmental standards under the supervision of a licensed nurse.
- Assists with day-to-day delivery of patient care.
- Facilitates efficient and safe patient care and flow by following work area standards.
- Serves as a liaison for communication and education of patient and family needs.
- Supports unit operations and patient flow by maintaining supplies, equipment, and unit environmental standards.
