• Epic charting experience
• Experience with patients in need of step down level care
• Understanding of drips and monitoring protocols

Description :

This position is for a Registered Nurse specializing in Step Down care.

The unit is a 12-bed facility that provides care to patients requiring a level of care between intensive care units and progressive care units.

Collaboration with intensivists and nursing staff is essential to deliver quality care for both patients and families.

Patient safety is the primary focus of this unit.

Patient demographics include traumas, surgeries, transplants, and patients with lung disorders or those requiring ventilation support.

Nurse-patient ratios are typically 1 : 3-4 during day and night shifts.

Travelers will be required to float within scope to meet facility needs.

Weekends will consist of working 4 out of 8 possible shifts during a four-week period.

Travelers must work 2 out of 3 major holidays.

This facility is a 100% nicotine-free environment.

The role requires strong critical care skills and the ability to manage various patient conditions safely and effectively.

Please ensure compliance with all facility guidelines and requirements.

RTO is permitted up to two weeks and should be submitted with the application.

End of contract dates will be on a Sunday.

All candidates must provide proof of active licensure in the required time frame.

Successful candidates will be expected to adhere to the facility's policies and protocols throughout their assignment.
