Lakeview Terrace– a Life Care Community, is enhancing and advancing the art of Life Care. Our gated campus occupies 100 serene acres on the edge of the Ocala National Forest. Featuring two lakes with fishing docks, walking paths, a natural area for picnicking and a new Rehab Center and Exercise Pool Complex. With full service offerings available to all our residents, we provide peace of mind with caring and compassionate staff to ensure happiness and well-being. Purpose :

The Fitness Coordinator at Lakeview Terrace aims to improve residents' health and well-being through fitness, wellness education, and special activities. This role focuses on creating safe, engaging programs and maintaining facilities, while working with staff to ensure effectiveness and promote overall quality of life.

Responsibilities :

• Develop and implement the Living Well brand and program for Lakeview Terrace Retirement Community.
• Design and deliver aquatic and land-based exercise programs, focusing on wellness and fitness.
• Create and provide wellness-related continued education and training for residents.
• Work closely with Therapy, Activity, Dietary, and Nursing staff to implement new programs.

Required Qualifications :

Degree in wellness / exercise

Certified Pool Operator (within 90 days of hire)

Preferred Qualifications :

Biomechanics

Salary / Hourly Rate : Negotiable
