License : Active RN TX license

Certifications : BLS

ACLS

CCRN preferred

Must-Have :

Minimum of 2 years of MICU / MSICU experience

BLS certification

ACLS certification

Description : General Comments :

Unit highlights include staffing assignments according to patient acuity and skills.

Equipment used includes all ICU equipment such as ventilators, NXStage, Arctic Sun, and GE Cardiac Output monitor.

Documentation is completed using Meditech.

Floating to other units may be required as needed.

Procedures performed on the unit include central line placements, bedside procedures like thoracentesis, dialysis catheter placements, cardioversions, and intubations, along with all other ICU procedures.

Dress code specifies royal blue scrubs for RNs.

Nail policy requires clean and healthy nails, with no artificial nails or gel.

Hair must be neat and clean, with no extreme styles or colors.

Beards, mustaches, and sideburns should be neatly trimmed.

Hair must be pulled back if shoulder length or longer while working.

Body art should be covered whenever possible.

Visible piercings other than earrings are prohibited.

Attendance policies will be followed as per company guidelines.
