Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking an experienced CT Technologist for a night shift position requiring ARRT, CT certification, and recent Level 1 trauma experience.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

  • Work in a hospital-based CT department within a teaching facility
  • Night shift schedule : Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 7 : 00 PM to 7 : 00 AM
  • Patient population includes ICU, trauma, general anesthesia, sedation, and inpatients
  • Will perform advanced CT imaging protocols including CT cardiac, stroke perfusion, and trauma scans
  • Use Siemens equipment is required, with McKesson and Cerner systems
  • Mandatory floating to other areas as needed, including patient observer duties
  • 50% of holidays and on-call are required per contract
  • Experience with Cerner EMR is preferred
  • Duties include evaluating image quality, assigning priority, maintaining patient records, and assisting with new protocols
  • Provide orientation and training to new technologists and students
  • Participate in education for interns, residents, fellows, and attendings as needed
  • Assist radiologists and physicists in developing unique imaging procedures
  • Return travelers within 18 months do not require re-orientation
  • Modules are completed during orientation and annually, with time tracked on-site

  • Current BLS and ARRT certification
  • CT specialty certification required
  • Minimum 2 years of CT technologist experience, with at least 1 year in the specialty
  • Recent experience in a Level 1 trauma setting is required
  • Teaching hospital experience preferred
  • License required if applicable
  • Must have MO or Compact license active at time of consideration
  • First-time travelers will not be considered
  • Must live more than 75 miles from the facility to qualify for travel rate
