About the Role

The Marketing Automation Manager will serve as the strategic owner of our marketing automation and CRM platforms, enabling the business to drive lead generation, nurture programs, and measurable ROI. This role will be responsible for designing, executing, and optimizing automated campaigns that engage target audiences, accelerate the sales pipeline, and strengthen customer relationships in the B2B manufacturing space.

The Manager will collaborate closely with Sales, Product Marketing, and Digital teams to align marketing automation strategies with business goals. This individual will also ensure data quality, reporting, and campaign performance tracking to deliver actionable insights.

Responsibilities

• Manage and optimize the company’s marketing automation platform (Salesforce Marketing Cloud / Pardot or equivalent), ensuring best practices and system health
• Develop, execute, and analyze automated campaigns including email, nurture flows, event marketing, and customer lifecycle programs
• Partner with Sales and Product Marketing to build targeted segmentation, lead scoring, and qualification processes that improve conversion rates
• Collaborate with Product Management to support product launches through automated campaigns and integrated lead nurture strategies
• Establish and enforce data governance, ensuring accuracy of customer and prospect information in CRM systems
• Build dashboards and reports to track campaign performance, pipeline contribution, and ROI
• Lead A / B testing and campaign optimization to continuously improve engagement and effectiveness
• Support sales enablement efforts by ensuring automated communications align with messaging, positioning, and account-based marketing (ABM) strategies
• Manage relationships with external agencies and vendors to enhance campaign execution and deliverability
• Stay current on industry trends and new technologies in marketing automation, CRM, and B2B demand generation
