About The Position

Job Title : Flight Respiratory Therapist

Experience : Minimum of 1 year required

License : Virginia State License or compact state license

Certifications : ACLS, BLS, RRT

Must-Have :

Level 4 NICU experience

Flight experience

Description :

26-week contract position available.

Traveler must not exceed 235 lbs in street clothes due to flight restrictions.

Role requires working with pediatrics and NICU patients.

Nights shift available.

First-time travelers are accepted.

The facility has over 600 beds and is recognized for excellence in various areas.

They have performed above the national average in infection prevention.

They rank among the top healthcare institutions in the region.

Experience in adult critical care, aerosol setup, and ventilator management is required.

Candidates must be capable of performing airway management and medication administration.

Experience in ER and ICU is required.

Ability to trouble shoot high-pressure alarms and wean from mechanical ventilation is needed.

Candidates will float within their scope as necessary.

EPIC charting experience is required.

Candidates are subject to background checks as per state regulations.

Please plan accordingly as candidates are not allowed to start with pending background results.

Modules for orientation may vary by specialty, and their time is factored in.
