Director of Finance

Industry : Healthcare / Health Tech

Reports To : Corporate VP of Finance

About the Company

Our client is a rapidly growing healthcare organization dedicated to transforming patient care through innovation and operational excellence. With a strong focus on scaling strategically, they’re seeking a Director of Finance to lead financial planning and analysis (FP&A) and support ongoing M&A activity for one of their key business units.

This is an incredible opportunity for a finance leader who thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth environment and wants to play a key role in shaping the financial future of a mission-driven company.

The Opportunity

The Director of Finance will serve as the strategic finance partner to the Corporate VP of Finance and the senior leadership team of the business unit. You’ll own all aspects of FP&A, financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, and support due diligence for M&A initiatives.

This role requires someone who is both hands-on and strategic —comfortable rolling up their sleeves to analyze the details while also influencing big-picture decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage all FP&A activities including annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning.
  • Partner closely with the Corporate VP of Finance and executive team to provide insights that drive business performance and growth.
  • Support financial due diligence, integration, and analysis for M&A opportunities.
  • Build and maintain dynamic financial models to evaluate business initiatives, pricing strategies, and investment decisions.
  • Provide monthly and quarterly reporting packages with actionable insights and variance analysis.
  • Develop scalable financial processes, tools, and reporting dashboards as the company continues to expand.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Operations, Accounting, and Corporate Development teams to align financial strategy with business objectives.
  • Mentor and develop junior finance staff as the team grows.

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • 8+ years of progressive finance experience, with strong exposure to FP&A, M&A, and strategic finance.
  • Industry background in Healthcare, Health Tech, or a Healthcare startup environment required.
  • CPA and / or MBA preferred.
  • Proven ability to operate both strategically and tactically in a fast-moving, growth-oriented company.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills—able to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights for executives and investors.
  • Hands-on leader who enjoys building processes and driving continuous improvement.
  • Strong systems and Excel / financial modeling capabilities (experience with NetSuite, Adaptive, or similar tools is a plus).
  • Why This Role

  • High-impact position with visibility to executive leadership and board-level discussions.
  • Opportunity to lead finance for a fast-growing, purpose-driven healthcare company.
  • Collaborative, mission-focused culture that values innovation and integrity.
  • Competitive compensation, performance bonus, and comprehensive benefits package.
