This machine operator will be responsible for operating lathe / mill machines to produce a variety of parts and niche orders as well as assisting with miscellaneous tasks in the shop as needed. This temporary role assignment is expected to last approximately 6-8 weeks, but has the potential to turn into a permanent position for the right candidate.

Location : Hartford, WI

Duties / Responsibilities :

  • Load and unload material onto and from machine
  • Drill holes into product
  • Deburr holes and ends
  • Pack into boxes, package and print shipping labels
  • Miscellaneous shop tasks as needed

Qualifications / Requirements :

  • High School Diploma / GED equivalent
  • US citizen or authorization to work in the US
  • Previous lathe / milling experience desired.
  • Solid work history

    • Required Skills / Abilities :

  • Desire to learn new skills and improve technical knowledge.
  • Strong orientation toward quality, safety and continuous improvement.
  • Commitment to quality and accuracy of work performed.
  • Safety conscious behavior.
  • Mechanical Aptitude / ability to use hand tools
  • Ability to work independently with little supervision
  • Ability to execute repetitious tasks through duration of shift
  • Attention to detail
  • Solid communication skills - comfortable asking questions
  • Excellent attendance.
