Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN Case Manager with at least 2 years of recent acute care and Epic experience for a day shift position in California.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

  • Work in a hospital case management setting
  • Day shift schedule, 5x8-hour shifts from 8 : 00 to 16 : 30
  • Requires coverage of 2 weekends every 6 weeks
  • No call required
  • Expected to float between like units and facilities within the state as needed
  • Utilizes Epic for charting, prior experience required
  • Responsibilities include care coordination, utilization review, and multidisciplinary collaboration
  • Must be willing to float between all facilities in the state if needed
  • Commitment to work at least 3 of 5 major holidays is required (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
  • Free parking is available
  • Pre-employment modules are required and must be completed before start
  • All requested time off must be disclosed and approved prior to assignment

  • Active CA RN license required at time of application
  • Minimum of 2 years of recent acute care RN case management experience required
  • Experience with Epic EMR is required
  • No first-time travelers will be considered
  • Must provide at least 2 supervisory references from comparable settings within the last 3 years
  • Candidates must not reside within 50 miles of the facility
  • Former perm staff must have a 3-month gap before returning as a traveler
