Geriatric Nursing Assistant (GNA) - Salisbury, MD

Salary : $24 / Hour

Minimum Requirements :

Active CNA with Geriatric Certification, required

Experience with memory care patients, preferred

Prefer one year of geriatric nursing assistant experience as a certified nursing assistant within the last three years.

Graduate from certified nursing assistant program with subsequent documentation as a certified nursing assistant per state requirements with proof of verification as being an active certification and having the ability to be work with geriatrics per state requirements. - Knowledge of medical terminology and knowledge of clerical functions.

Current CPR

TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable

Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)

Must meet all federal, state and local requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age

Position Details

Position : LTC GNA

Location : Deers Head Hospital Center

Address : 351 Deers Head Hospital Rd Salisbury, MD 21802

Shift :

1 - 11 : 00pm-7 : 30am

Hours : Monday-Friday - 40 hours per week with E / O weekend and E / O holiday required

Contracted hours are guaranteed however this does not apply to shifts that are picked up.

Contract Duration : 13 weeks with a chance of extension

Start Date : ASAP

Pay rate : $24 / hour
