Job Title

Network Systems Administrator

Responsibilities

• Defines, designs and implements network communications and solutions.
• Proposes and implements approved system enhancements (software and hardware updates) that will improve system performance and reliability at the plant level.
• Primary point of contact for IT-related audits.
• Coordinates cable installation, network system planning, upgrading, monitoring, testing and servicing.
• Provides support for corporate IT initiatives at the local level.
• Daily responsibilities include server backups, user support, server maintenance, patch maintenance, software and hardware distribution, daily inventory tracking and other duties as assigned.
• Maintains the software and hardware inventory.
• Ensures system hardware, operating systems, software and security are functional daily and that related procedures meet organizational needs.
• Provides technical assistance to staff in resolving computer-related problems beyond the scope of standard IT support.
