Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist with 2+ years of experience and ARRT(R)(CT) certification for a fast-paced emergency department night shift position.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

  • Position is based in a high-volume emergency department
  • Patient population includes infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
  • Caseload ranges from 150-200 scans daily across 4 rooms
  • Procedures include abdomen, pelvis, head / neck, chest, spine, musculoskeletal, brain perfusion, CTAs, multiplanar reconstruction, and Code Stroke cases
  • Uses Siemens S3000, Siemens Sequoia, and GE scanners
  • Epic and Visage EMR systems are in use
  • 12-hour night shifts, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 17 : 45 to 06 : 15
  • No call or floating required
  • Weekend staffing includes 2 techs per shift
  • Position requires adaptability to a very fast-paced environment
  • Scrubs must be royal blue
  • No weekend or holiday time off requests are permitted
  • All call-offs or additional time off requests may result in cancellation of contract
  • Start date may shift based on orientation scheduling; full availability required for first week
  • Team size varies by shift; expect one to two techs during night and weekend shifts
  • \n \n Requirements\n

  • Minimum of 2 years CT experience
  • BLS and ARRT(R)(CT) certifications required
  • Experience with both GE and Siemens scanners is required
  • CT experience in inpatient, ER, and adult ICU settings required
  • Must be capable of performing a variety of CT procedures, including trauma and Code Stroke
  • Proficiency with Epic EMR required
  • First-time travelers are accepted
  • License required if applicable
