As a Security Officer - Armed Site - Morning Shift in Milwaukee, WI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food / Beverage, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a leading food and beverage location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas to help create a secure environment. This role involves conducting routine patrols, remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents, and providing outstanding customer service. You will be responsible for armed duties and / or driving as part of your post requirements. Pay Rate : $24.85 / Hour

Job Schedule : Day Time Mon 05 : 30 AM - 01 : 30 PM Tue 05 : 30 AM - 01 : 30 PM Wed 05 : 30 AM - 01 : 30 PM Sat 05 : 30 AM - 01 : 30 PM Sun 05 : 30 AM - 01 : 30 PM

What You'll Do :

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter, helping to deter unauthorized activity and / or suspicious behavior.
  • Monitor and control access points to help maintain authorized entry to the location.
  • Remain alert and prepared to respond to any security-related situations that may arise, including those unique to a food and beverage production environment.
  • Communicate professionally with employees, visitors, and / or contractors, addressing inquiries and providing assistance as needed.
  • Report and document all security-related incidents, observations, and / or irregularities according to Allied Universal guidelines.
  • Work collaboratively with site personnel and local law enforcement as needed for incident resolution.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Must possess an active armed guard card or license as required by state and / or local regulations.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Access control and / or badge experience is preferred.
  • A valid driver's license is required and must meet Allied Universal Driver Policy requirements for driving positions only.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
