Job Description

As a Security Professional - Mall Patrol Driver in Atlanta, GA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail / Malls, and more.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting regular patrols and maintaining a visible presence at a thriving retail and mall location. You will interact with visitors, provide outstanding customer service, and support a welcoming atmosphere. This is a driving post, so you will be responsible for patrolling both on foot and by vehicle. What You'll Do :

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites

  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies when appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting a secure environment for retail and mall patrons.
  • Conduct regular and random security-related patrols throughout the location and its perimeter, observing for unauthorized activity or potential hazards.
  • Maintain a visible presence to help to deter unwanted or criminal activity within retail and mall areas.
  • Complete accurate and timely reports on incidents, patrols, and other security-related activities as required.
  • Communicate professionally with clients, visitors, staff, and / or law enforcement as needed.
  • Follow instructions from Allied Universal and site management regarding security-related procedures and protocols.
  • Assist with access control by verifying credentials and monitoring entry and exit points, as directed.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
  • At least one year of security-related experience is required.
  • Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
  • The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
  • CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
