Were looking for a Warehouse Materials Lead to join our team someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes ownership in maintaining an organized, efficient and accurate warehouse operation.

This role plays a key part in ensuring all materials are received, inspected, and staged accurately for installation. Youll work closely with warehouse staff and installation teams to make sure everything runs smoothly, and projects stay on schedule.

Schedule : Monday-Friday, 6 : 30am to 3 : 00pm.

Responsibilities

  • Material Receiving and Inspection : Receive and inspect all purchased materials, confirming accuracy and condition.
  • Material Staging : Organize and stage materials (trim, siding, brickmould etc.) to ensure everything is ready before the installation date.
  • Inventory and Organization : Maintain an orderly warehouse layout and assist in tracking material flow.
  • Collaboration & Support : Assist with truck arrivals, unloading / loading, and other day-to-day warehouse operations. Learn and support other warehouse positions as needed.
  • Transportation : Drive company vehicles for material pick-up and delivery to jobsites as needed.
  • General Maintenance : Keep warehouse clean, safe, and organized at all times.
  • Other duties : Perform additional tasks or special projects as assigned.
  • Qualifications

  • Education : High school diploma or GED.
  • Licensing & Certifications : Forklift certification or the ability to become certified required. Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record required.
  • Experience : Ability to read and interpret Material Take-Offs and differentiate between interior and exterior trims required . Two or more years of experience with carpentry or construction materials, including measuring and cutting materials accurately preferred.
  • Physical Requirements : Must be able to repeatedly lift 50-75 lbs. over an 8-hour shift.
  • Safety Awareness : Must be safety-conscious at all times and follow OSHA regulations.
  • Teamwork and Communication : Strong ability to work well with others and contribute as a team player.
  • Work Environment : Comfortable working in outdoor conditions, including hot summers and cold winters.
